I've spent these last 4 years working on a B.F.A. in fiction and poetry (and, yes the English Lit and Film Studies as well...call me a mental masochist, but after having dropped out of college the first time round, spending many years in exile including a decade in construction [beats deconstruction], getting a 'lucky break' [crushed the right knee (this new age guru I saw, not on purpose, mind you, while in the final stages of recovery and on crutches, told me it was my right side because I'd been neglecting the feminine side of my psyche, to which I retorted, 'hey pal, I go to the opera', and these guys want to be respected?) and, in compensation, got university-of-my-choice-full -tuition -paid for 4 years] I decided to 'be all I could be' and, obviously, was overly ambitious). Did I do all of that grammar and form right? Perhaps I should add that the first degree, which I got 4 years of, in a five year program, was theology and biblical studies. Am I a waste or what.

When I started this little site, it was for a hundred or so friends and family scattered around the globe. I wasn't expecting to write much original stuff myself, just do a quote-and-link-and-cut-and paste-and-make-personal-observation type of thing. Well, a few people stumble in here rather like Peter Sellers stumbles out of the snow in his pajamas in one of those marvelous Pink Panther movies (nobody knows what I'm talking about..?) and I've gotten a few kind emails and some of the best bloggers on the web have linked to me...so.
